JOB DESCRIPTION:
Summary:

• Performs work elements necessary for setup, assembly, and related operation, employing manual or mechanical methods, to complete the assembly of any type of ball, or specialty type bearing.

Duties:

• Responsible for maintaining quality through adherence to specified programs, procedures, and requirements.
• Setup and operate the following types of equipment and or processes -
  • Gluing seal components
  • Crimping seal components
  • Matching and Assembly of inner & outer ring sets
  • Riveting and thumping plastic and or brass retainers
  • Washing ring sets
  • Anderometer
  • Grease dispensing equipment.
  • Seal press
  • Spinning
  • Lock wire or lock ring installation.
  • Setscrew or specialty fastener installation
• Visual inspections
• Performs necessary operations for assembly and or repair of bearing components.
• Performs material handling work, maintains necessary supplies, paperwork for the work area, and keeps the work area clean and organized.

Work close with supervisor, setup person performing operations of bearing assemblies, washing, greasing, sealing, bore gauging, wiping of a variety of bearings. Duties in addition include: Responsible for the following to match on each order: Manufacturing order, Correct Counts.
Detect and report faulty operation or defective material and notify supervisor of unusual conditions. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition. Observe all prescribed safety regulations. Make sure components assembled matches the manufacturing order.

Follow oral and published job instructions and established procedures. Perform various other related duties as required or directed.


Pay Details: $16.10 per hour
