Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as a Reclamation Guide. Make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment.

Requirements:

In order to be rated as qualified for this position, the HR Office must be able to determine that you meet the education/and or specialized experience requirement - this information must be clearly supported in the resume.

To qualify at the GS-05, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-04 level in federal service having demonstrated experience that involved independent oral presentation of historical, scientific, or program information to larger groups; OR developing and/or revising technical, historical, or scientific information for oral presentation to groups.

OR

You could otherwise qualify on the basis of Education having 4-year course of study above high school leading to a bachelor's degree meets the specialized experience required only in those instances where it is directly related to the work of the position, such as American history, science, and/or public speaking. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours of a course of study leading to a bachelor's degree is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirements. Two full academic years of study, or 60 semester hours, beyond the second year is equivalent to 1-year of specialized experience.

OR

You may combine specialized experience and education to meet the minimum qualifications. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post high school education and experience are also qualifying. If education is used to meet specialized experience requirements, then such education must include courses directly related to the work of the position.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
