You will serve as a RESEARCH MICROBIOLOGIST (ENTERIC DISEASE/ PROGRAM MANAGER) in the Enterics Diseases Department (EDD) of NAVMEDRSCHCEN SILVER SPRING MD.Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience working with bacterial pathogens, development and evaluation of novel countermeasures against bacterial infections.
- Experience generating competitive research proposals, winning research funding, and executing research programs aligned to programmatic goals and progressing toward development of medical countermeasures.
- Experience managing a research team executing a research portfolio with defined milestones and schedule.
- Experience establishing and working within collaborations to achieve mutual objectives.
