WG-05
1)Assist in making adjustments, lubrication, repairs and reports equipment problems. 2.) Provide support in maintaining daily logs and records of results for wells, pump stations, water production, and wastewater influent. 3) Updates logs of laboratory checks, calibration, and orders chemicals and laboratory supplies to ensure compliance with the State. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
WG-08
1) Investigates customer complaints regarding water problems ; 2) Documents reading and interpreting meters, gauges and instruments ; 3) Monitors and operate telemetry and SCADA systems ; 4) Using instruments (e.g. dissolved oxygen meters, PH meters, water meters, mag meters, turbidity meters) to adjust PH and add prescribed amounts of chemicals to treat water; and 5)Locating problems and initiating immediate corrective action to maintain inadequate wastewater treatment. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.
