This position serves as a primary advisor to the Director of the DCSA. Incumbent supervises and guides administrative personnel in the DCSA front office, but without dedicated staff supporting the Executive Officer position. Incumbent will be expected to draft and edit correspondence from the Director; coordinate activities with the protocol office; collaborate with executives and staff officers to prepare and accompany the Director for engagements, and manage action items to completion.Requirements:

You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-14 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience.
Specialized experience for this GG-15 position includes: Directly supporting senior leadership to ensure the strategic objectives, goals, and priorities are conveyed to subordinate elements. Compiling a wide range of inputs into cogent, complete programs and responses that are in consonance with the agency goals and priorities. Preparing senior executives for engagements, supporting the engagement, capturing action items, and developing suspense's to ensure items are completed by agreed upon timelines. Reviewing responses to ensure quality and completeness and producing final product for the Director's approval. Leading numerous high priority special projects of critical importance to executive leadership producing substantial, detailed research and provides recommendations that involve unprecedented solutions to intransigent problems.
