This position is part of the Interior Business Center (IBC), Human Resources Directorate (HRD), IBC HRD Human Resources Operations Division. The incumbent will be responsible for providing support to HR Specialist(s) and advice and assistance to managers, supervisors, and employees regarding recruitment and placement.
Requirements:
At the GS-05, you must meet one of the following qualifications:A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-04 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes but is not limited to experience in scanning documents into an automated record keeping system such as eOPF; inputting and/or extracting data in an automated personnel\payroll system; processing routine personnel actions; and answering routine HR related inquiries.;
OR
B. A bachelor's degree, or four years of education above high school level, in any field from an accredited or pre-accredited college or university;
OR
C. A combination of education and experience as listed above.
Only experience and education obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.
This position requires that you obtain and maintain the Delegated Examining Certification at the GS-7/8 level.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
