This vacancy is for a PROGRAM ANALYST position in the Associate Director for Research & Methodology, located at the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland. The Census Bureau is accessible from the Metro Rail Green Line - Suitland Station.This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other PROGRAM ANALYST, 0343, 13, FPL GS-13 positions within the Census Bureau in the same geographical location with the same qualifications and specialized experience.
Requirements:
Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes:
Experience formulating budget estimates and financial operating plans; monitoring the rate of expenditure of budgeted funds to ensure the budget remains on track to meet planned spending; generating a variety of reports and communicating results to management; providing expert advice and assistance on budgeting and associated data by conducting analysis, reviews, and special studies of budget and/or related information; working with stakeholders from different divisions to ensure the organization complies with legal and regulatory requirements while also meeting the specific needs of different programs and experience communicating orally and/or in writing.
Education: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.
