Description:
As a Property Disposal Specialist, you will serve in a developmental capacity helping to track and expedite the flow of excess/surplus and exchange/sale property throughout the utilization/donation and/or sales process.
Location: Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Personal Property Management Division, Utilization and Donation (U&D) Section.
The office is located within a warehouse environment at 6808 Loisdale Road, Bldg. A, Suite 1 Springfield, VA 22150.

To qualify at the GS-9, you must possess one of the following:
To qualify at the GS-9 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience performing property disposal work for excess and surplus personal property using principles and concepts associated with one or more of the following disposal functions: utilization; donation; sales/marketing.
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such degree or a LL.B or J.D. if related in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
