Description:

The HPTC mission is dedicated to the safe preservation and maintenance of national parks or partner facilities by demonstrating outstanding leadership, delivering quality preservation services, and developing educational events that fulfill the competency requirements of Service employees in the career fields of Historic Preservations Skills and Crafts, Risk Management, Maintenance and Planning, Design, and Construction.

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
  1. Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision(SCREEN OUT)
  2. Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair
  3. Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)
  4. Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (includes blueprinting reading)
  5. Measurement and Layout
  6. Ability to Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment
