GS-10: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:*Experience protecting shipyard employees through prevention and control of nuclear incidents.
*Experience utilizing a) radiological principles, theories, techniques, methodologies, requirements, and procedures, b) trade work techniques and procedures, and c) the function, nomenclature, location, and physical structure of Naval Nuclear Propulsion systems and their support systems to assure radiological safety requirements are met.
*Experience reviewing all radioactivity control related plans and procedures and reviewing all radioactivity control related plans and procedures.
*Experience evaluating various incidents and assuming full control during radiation-related incidents to prevent and control incidents by determining, directing, and controlling activities of all personnel.
*Experience demonstrating the ability to review and appraise special work or projects, adapting portions of training or material to accommodate local needs and analysis of the complex problems, deficiencies, and cause of incidents that could not be fully resolved by lower grade technicians.
GS-9: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
*Experience protecting shipyard employees through prevention and control of nuclear incidents.
*Experience utilizing a) radiological principles, theories, techniques, methodologies, requirements, and procedures, b) trade work techniques and procedures, and c) the function, nomenclature, location, and physical structure of Naval Nuclear Propulsion systems and their support systems to assure radiological safety requirements are met.
*Experience reviewing all radioactivity control related plans and procedures and reviewing all radioactivity control related plans and procedures.
*Experience evaluating various incidents and assuming full control during radiation-related incidents to prevent and control incidents by determining, directing, and controlling activities of all personnel.
GS-8: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
*Experience protecting shipyard employees through prevention and control of nuclear incidents.
*Experience performing various phases of complicated operations with radioactive systems projects.
*Experience assuring compliance with radiological safety requirements and recommending changes to improve the safety and efficiency of procedures as well as determine whether there is need to "stop work".
*Experience monitoring work and testing procedures of all skill level trades and analyzing a) radiological principles, requirements, and procedures, b) trade work techniques and procedures, and c) the design and layout of Naval Nuclear Propulsion systems to assure radiological safety requirements are met.
*Experience evaluating various incidents and assuming full control of activities, directing necessary emergency actions to contain radiation, minimize effects, determine causes, correct deficiencies, and identify mitigation practices.
GS-7: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
*Experience protecting shipyard employees through prevention and control of nuclear incidents.
*Experience performing radiological evaluations and reviews monitoring work procedures and worksites for proper containment, ventilations, tools, and detection devices assuring compliance with approved radiological control plans.
*Experience performing various surveys correcting deficiencies and mitigating radiological risks.
*Experience participating in all phases of radiological emergencies. Have knowledge of radiological principles, requirements, and procedures, trade work techniques and procedures, and the design and layout of Naval Nuclear Propulsion systems.
