Description:

About the Position: The purpose of position is to provide the Installation Senior Commander / FORSCOM Commanding General, HQs Ready and Resilient (R2) Director, and FORSCOM R2 Division Chiefs or as specified by the Commander, with quantifiable and objectively based data markers and information (by echelon) for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of R2 Operations and Enduring Personal Readiness (EPR) Campaign requirements within FORSCOM.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing a health and wellness program in order to provide advice, coordination and integration for the health promotion and wellness program to senior leaders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (GS-11).

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Communications and Media Interpersonal Skills Manages and Organizes Information Organizational Awareness Project Management

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
