Description:

This position is located at Departmental Offices,Management CFO- Info Systems and CIO. As a/an Director, Office of Technology Business Management, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities in the Treasury OCIO associated with IT policy formulation, presentation, and execution for a large, complex substantive program.

Requirements:

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement

For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service . Specialized experience for this position includes: -Experience evaluating IT portfolio investments, governance framework, policy directives, and program administration, which may include experience in interpreting guidance on Federal Capital Planning and Investment Control and Technology Business Management; AND Experience acting as a liaison to an oversight entity (e.g. OMB/GSA); AND Experience leading a team involved in data collection, reporting, budgeting, and procuring information technology; AND Experience implementing and managing IT portfolio/CPIC/TBM systems, such as eFolio, Apptio, or any in-house systems. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

Time in Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
