This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), Kansas City Federal Records Program. The mission of the Federal Records Centers Program is to safeguard the nation's records, including citizen tax returns, Official Military Personnel Folders, passport applications, and National Security Information (NSI) by maintaining facilities that are fully compliant with regulations that protect records from fire, theft, pests, water damage and natural disasters.Requirements:

Specialized experience for the GS-05 grade level is defined as one year of experience at the GS-04 grade level, or equivalent, that is typically in or related to the position and which equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience:

General experience for the GS-04 is defined as progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.

Advancement to positions up to GS-5: Candidates may be advanced without time restriction to positions up to GS-05 if the position to be filled is no more than two grades above the lowest grade the employee held within the preceding 52 weeks under his or her latest non-temporary competitive appointment.
