You will serve as a ELECTRICIAN TRAINING LEADER in the PUBLIC WORKS BUSINESS LINE of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO INSTRUCT: 1) Assisting with training the apprentices on how to interpret and apply the National Electrical Code, local codes, building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings, and the skill in the use of trade formulas; determining proper materials to be used; and how to use shop tools and equipment; 2) Assisting apprentices in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical lines, circuit systems, and similar electrical loads; 3) Contributing to the developing of training material, daily lesson plans, videos. visual aids and handouts to accomplish objectives of the training plan; and 4) Prepare periodic updates related to training records, documents periodic appraisals for attendance, training progress, and accomplishments to be reviewed by the supervisor.
