This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command. The incumbent will be responsible for providing cost estimating, analysis, scheduling, and risk analysis in support of a variety of current and advanced programs supporting Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE).Requirements:
You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications:A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service:
- Performing cost estimation and analysis for multiple programs, systems or services, resulting in costing information and decision tools.
- Providing timely and accurate cost analyses guidance and support to internal and external activities.
- Communicating cost and economic analysis outcomes to facilitate completion of operational and mission objectives.
- At least 1 year acquisition experience in cost estimating and serving in a program office, PEO, Service/Defense agency level, or supporting a program that reports to a Service Acquisition Executive (SAE). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
