Description:
You will serve as a Mechanical Engineer in the FST Engineering, Support Equipment FST - Test Program Set Development (TPSD)/E2C2 of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.The purpose of this position is to be the technical lead and decision authority for the design, creation, and configurations of drawings, and other Mechanical Engineering functions on Navy and Marine Corps aircraft platforms, Support Equipment, and Peculiar Support Equipment.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at GS-12 or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Performing and executing a variety of engineering projects from conception to completion. 2) Conducting in-depth studies and analyses of specific issues or specialty areas within the mechanical engineering discipline. 3) Serving as a consultant and advisor on mechanical engineering issues and concerns.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
