Specialized Experience: One year of demonstrated specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the federal service which includes: conducting investigations related to criminal activities; apprehending and/or detaining persons committing crimes; interviewing witnesses, suspects, and victims, to obtain statements concerning criminal activities; accounting for, preserving, safeguarding and disposing of evidence related to crime scenes and/or criminal activities.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
