Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing professional engineering or architectural design and/or construction management services concerning facilities design, construction, repair and maintenance; 2) Identifying and recommending technical solutions to engineering and architectural problems encountered during the design and/or construction of facilities; 3) Evaluating architect, engineer and/or contractor proposed constructor schedules and cost estimates to ensure construction projects do not exceed time or cost constraints; 4) Reviewing safety or accident prevention plans for compliance with contract health and safety requirements; 5) Reviewing contract drawings and specifications with respect to constructability and compatibility with design requirements and field conditions.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: all-professional-engineering-positions-0800.pdf (opm.gov)
