Job Title: Packaging Line Worker
Job Description
As a Packaging Line Worker, you will work off of batch records and logbooks daily to prepare the packaging job for the day. You will be responsible for monitoring batch records for accuracy, completing paperwork as needed, and utilizing a computer daily for tasks such as reading emails and printing labels. Your role includes lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, and on average 25 lbs. You will assist in the operation and setup of line equipment, meeting daily shift targets, and movement of packaging materials. You will also assist in assuring that all finished goods meet outlined standards and help in the movement of finished goods. Attendance to all scheduled safety and GMP training sessions is required. There will also be opportunities to operate a forklift and work in a refrigerated environment. Keeping the work area, warehouse, and cooler clean and organized is a part of this role.
