Individual team lead is responsible for line work supporting areas of glass, plastics, and compression in a clean and climate controlled environment. Specific duties will vary based on the assigned area.
Responsibilities
• Run machines and/or robots for assembly.
• Use tools and chemicals for assembly.
• Operate forklifts as necessary.
• Work at different work stations as production needs require.
• Assist in obtaining correct inventory counts and providing documentation to support these counts which could be daily, weekly, and/or monthly.
• Understand thoroughly the customer’s quality specifications.
• Participate in team meetings as outlined in department.
• Participate in Kaizen Program and/or Events.
• Participate in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Practice and participate in the 5’S.
• Report problems to immediate supervisor.
• Report all accidents to Team Leader and/or Supervisor.
• Understand and follow the Standard Work Instructions established for the area.
• Follow direction of Team Leader and Supervisor.
• Participate in end-of-day clean up.

Required Skills
• Ability to move and handle merchandise weighing up to 30 lbs. in an 8-hour period.
• Work is performed while standing, sitting, or walking.
• Prolonged bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Ability to speak or hear, and smell.
• Frequent reaching overhead with arms and hands, grasping, and similar, repetitive movements.
• Ability to work effectively in hot and cold temperatures.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
