Applicants must be friendly, hardworking, team-oriented, and honest with strong beverage service experience. Must be available to work consistently, always have a positive attitude and be an excellent communicator.
Bartender responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar patrons and restaurant guests, interacting with customers, taking food & drink orders, serving guests with a warm, friendly smile, guest retention, cleaning, sanitizing, side work, teamwork of all varieties, reporting thoroughly to management, being responsible for cash and credit payments, etc.
Bartender Skills & Qualifications:
-Minimum of 1 year experience as a Bartender in a high-volume setting, preferred.
-Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
-Valid alcohol certification.
-Following recipes, including measuring and mixing ingredients.
-Preparing ingredients for service, including cutting, peeling, stuffing, etc.
-Labeling & stocking all bar ingredients & garnishes so they are organized & easily accessible.
-Operating equipment and bladed tools following safety standards.
-Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
-Elevated knowledge of wine, spirits and beer.
-Experience serving food. Ability to describe & make menu recommendations.
-Highly developed interpersonal skills.
-Basic bookkeeping knowledge.
-Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems.
-High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods.
-Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
-Executing opening and closing procedures.
-Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
