Description:

El Gaucho Bellevue, an esteemed establishment renowned for its exceptional dining experience, is seeking a highly qualified and passionate Wine Director to join our exceptional team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our continued success and work alongside a team of dedicated professionals.

As the Wine Captain, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the wine operations and ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. Your main focus will be on managing staff, maintaining company standards, and creating an extraordinary and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the details of several server sections, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

- Uphold company standards and ensure that all aspects of guest experience are positive, seamless, and memorable.

- Fill in any gaps in service with precision and attention to detail, addressing guest needs promptly.

- Provide nightly floor service, administrative duties, and operational oversight specifically related to wine service and education.

- Demonstrate expertise in coursed service, fine dining etiquette, problem-solving, and staff management.

- Work well under pressure while effectively managing staff expectations.


Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining.

- Preferred level 1 certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers or equivalent accreditation.

- Solid work history demonstrating expertise in wine service and education.

- Strong communication and leadership skills.

- Positive, upbeat, and energetic attitude towards guests and team members.

- Ability to uphold the vision, policies, procedures, and standards of El Gaucho Bellevue.

Compensation:| $75,000-$85,000 Annual Salary | DOE
