DIRECT PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITY IN SHIPPING AND RECIEVEING WITH OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME A LEAD
$23/hr - $27/hr
WHITE BEAR TOWNSHIP, MN
Description:
- Will be the main person in this department doing all aspects of the shipping receiving role.
- Typical Duties include Kitting parts, wrapping parts, putting them in boxes, loading on skids, moving skids with a pallet jack, reading and working off work orders.
- Shipping, staging, prepping and palletizing.
- Pulling orders from stock from pick sheets.
- Utilize UPS/FEDEX for shipping as well as internal HPM ERP inventory system.
- On feet all day. Will also need to act as a shop help and move around to other areas as needed such as break out, assembly, grinding, etc.
- Operating sit-down forklift for moving materials. loading and stocking, pulling orders and prepping for shipment.
- Down the road could eventually lead and manage the department including 1-2 employees
Skills:
warehouse, pallet jack, packaging, inventory, forklift, order picking, shipping and receiving, palletizing
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE
- 3 + years Shipping/Receiving Experience
- 3 + years Experienced with UPS/FEDEX
- 6+ months forklift experience
- Ability to Lift 50 pounds
- Be comfortable on feet all day
- proven attendance record
- consistent work history
PREFER
- Prefer lead, supervisory or some sort of leadership experience
