This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, COMMANDANT, VICE COMMANDANT (CG-09), DEPUTY COMDT FOR OPERATIONS (CG-DCO), SUPPORT & OVERSIGHT BR - EAST, in Toledo, OH.
Requirements:
At the GS-12 level: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the federal service. Specialized experience is the experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include:
Applies sound technical knowledge and seasoned judgement in administering regulations, program policies, and procedures. Knowledge, skills and abilities to carry out supervisory responsibilities for the workforce; and analyze situations and prepare solutions to problems. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the public, local Coast Guard units, and other military and government agencies.
