THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a Supervisory General Supply Specialized, Position Description Number D1903000 and is part of the S&S, National Guard.

WHO CAN APPLY:
GROUP I - All qualified Male/Female Enlisted Member (E1/PV1 - E9/SGM), currently employed (permanent) in the Virginia Army National Guard Military Technician Program.

Military Grades: Enlisted Member (E1/PV1 - E9/SGM)

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have experience directing the development, coordination, and implementation of procedural changes; to direct the performance of management/program analysis for the logistic activities under the jurisdiction of the USPFO; and to direct acquisition, accountability, incoming, outgoing and formal transfer of logistic asset for the USPFO in support of the Federal and state mission.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have at least 24 months of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-10 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as:

Experience developing goals and objectives that integrate organizational, supply, transportation inventory management objectives. Experience delegating responsibility and authority to subordinates. Experience monitoring and reviewing monthly inventory documents for excessive gains/losses and initiates appropriate action as required. Experience developing and implementing plans and methods to ensure optimum logistical support for financial operating programs within USPFO.
