This position is a Agreements Technician (Grants), GS- 1101-7 working in Vancouver, Washington for the R1- Columbia River Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office.This position is also open to the public under announcement R1-24-12370624-LL-DE. Requirements:
Only experience and education obtained by 04/17/2024 will be considered.In order to qualify for this position you must possess the Minimum Qualification.
Minimum Qualification [GS-7]:one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-06 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing work in or related to the management of grants or agreements/contracts. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: (1) reviewing proposal packages for completeness and legal compliance; (2) developing scopes of work or terms and conditions for grants or agreements; (3) monitoring awards to ensure compliance with terms and conditions; (4) reviewing performance reports to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information; (5) documenting and maintaining award files; (6) using grants management or financial reporting software to input transaction data or extract data for reports; and/or (7) closing out reports to complete awards. NOTE: Your resume must contain sufficient information in these areas to be found qualified.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Time In Grade Requirement: Applicants must meet both eligibility and qualification requirements for the position of interest by the closing date of the JOA. Specifically,
i. Area of Consideration.
ii. Time-in-grade (TIG) requirements as specified in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F.
iii. Time after competitive appointment as specified in 5 CFR 330.502.
