At GS-5 Level
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes;
OR
Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages
. At GS-6 Level
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes; Experience applying supply regulations, policies and procedures; Experience receiving, storing, issuing and shipping supplies; Experience utilizing data entry procedures; and Experience maintaining alphabetical, numerical and chronological office files and records. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
OR
Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in any major field of study which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages.
At GS-7 Level
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes;

Education: One full year of graduate level education in any major field of study which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
