This position is part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.Requirements:
You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications:One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Experience with CWMD policies, programs and activities. Experience with US National Security, National Defense and National Military Strategies. Experience applying program and project management theory, principles, and techniques in performing the functions of global integration. Experience communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, to a broad audience of military and civilian professional, technical and administrative personnel. Experience consulting and using interpersonal skills to advise, negotiate, mediate, and reconcile differences of opinions to reach concrete, practical and satisfactory options/alternatives and solutions/resolutions.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
