As a researcher within the curation branch of Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) division at NASA Johnson Space Center, you will serve as a science team member working collaboratively with the Artemis Curation Lead in providing advanced curation research in the field of cold materials and providing expertise to the Agency and scientific community as required including support of human and robotic missions.Requirements:

To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level: Performing technical, curatorial, and/or research tasks; Conducting research on petrology, mineralogy, physical properties, spectroscopy, and/or geochemical investigations of small body, lunar, or planetary geological samples; Writing proposals seeking funding for research and/or curatorial tasks related to working with materials in cold environments.
