Description:
This position is located in the Prisoner Operations Division, Arlington, VA.The selectee of this position serves as a Grants-Cooperative Agreement Specialist. You will be responsible for working to plan for and obtain adequate and sufficient detention space for prisoners in state, local, and private detention facilities.
Requirements:
You may qualify at the GS-1101-12 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:Specialized Experience: At least one year (12 months) of full-time specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade GS-11 in the Federal Service performing duties which include the following: 1.) Reviewing cost and pricing proposals for Intergovernmental Agreements (IGA) and contracts for government entities; 2) Providing assistance in planning, developing, and reviewing procurement plans; 3) Negotiating intergovernmental agreements/contracts for services from state, local, county and private vendors; 4) Reviewing various policies and procedures, etc. 5) Identifying necessary program improvements and recommending changes to program offices' practices, policies, or procedures.
