SUMMARY

The Sales Assistant works closely with our internal sales team, current membership and independent life insurance agents, educating them on 1891 Financial Life products and benefits that add value to both agents and members. Supports marketing efforts to communicate the value of membership, assists in promoting products and services, encouraging member engagement, and to aid in public affairs efforts. Help create, develop and promote events/programs to assist agents and members to further the growth of 1891. Coordinates and supports services for 1891 Financial Life current Court/Impact Team events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Engage and enroll in the mission, vision of organization, and core values of our organizaiton.
  • Coordinate with Internal sales team the onboarding of new agencies, independent agents and financial advisors
  • Assist in reviewing agent reward programs and member benefits and research new programs for the future
  • Maintian KPI’s established for the team and provide a summary of weekly activities to CEO and Sr.VP of Sales.
  • Reconcile weekly commission payments with Accounting department;
  • Prepare, maintain, and update Salesforce Reports - for example: Weekly Business Submitted, Weekly Business Issued
  • Track Agent Production Contest Results (short and long term) and research and recommend new contests.
  • Help create, organize, develop and support outreach events and other member programs for impact teams.
  • Assist with the creation and development new annual membership drives or events for Regional Directors
  • Help building relationship by assisting internal wholesale team with new relationships ot our Independent Agents workforce and our new membership.
  • With CEO research and help with the development of new relationships with Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin faith based schools, churches or associations to increase awareness and promote membership.
  • Participate at networking events or agent events helping to deepen our relationship.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Knowledge of the life insurance and annuity products.
  • Hold a Life insurance license is a plus (will assist in obtaining if not currently held)
  • Understanding of basic life insurance products and annuities, but will educate
  • Communication, events management, publish relationship; undergraduate degree a plus
  • Knowledge of CRM Salesforce, Microsoft Office and Excel spreadsheet analysis a plus

  • Community service relationship development experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Marketing, events management, community involvement a plush..
  • Flexible work schedule as their is travel weekdays and weekends.
  • Plus if you are Bilingual – Spanish, Polish, Hmong or any other language.
  • Must be a life long learner
