This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command.Requirements:
You may qualify at the GS-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Researching, interpreting, analyzing, and applying transportation and traffic management policies and procedures for making recommendations for enhancements to the Defense Personal Property Program (DP3). Ensuring policy and procedure alignment of tender of service agreements, contract vehicles, travel regulations, and business rules for Household Goods (HHG), Non-Temporary Storage (NTS), and Privately Owed Vehicles (POV) programs. Establishing, developing, and maintaining effective working relationships with high-ranking military officials, employees, and representatives of other Federal agencies and/or private industry.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
