This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. Incumbent serves as Director of Educational and Public Programs, John F. Kennedy Library. Under the general supervision of the Library Director, develops, implements and oversees plans, policies and procedures for all education and public program areas of the Library, including education programming, public programming, special events, public relations, partnership programs, and visitor services.Requirements:

To qualify for this position at the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at a GS-12 level or equivalent. Experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as experience:
- Designing and facilitating professional development programs for educators at the K-16 level that includes best practices for integrating primary resources and archival material into classroom instruction; AND
- Creating educational curriculum that integrates primary resources and archival materials for students at the K-16 level; AND
- Assess learning outcomes and effectiveness of curricula and training programs; AND
- Supervising or leading and assisting staff in the development, delivery, and revision of training materials.
