The Screen-out Element for this position is: I HAVE THE ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION.
1) Performing pre-operational and preventive maintenance inspections on electrical generating equipment, auxiliary power units, air compressors, engine stands and hydraulic jacks;2) Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems of assigned equipment; and3) Keeping general and specific work areas clean as well as tools and equipment. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
