THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.This National Guard position is for a MILITARY & FAMILY READINESS SPECIALIST TITLE 5 PERMANENT, Position Description Number T5701400 and is part of the NH ARNG Command Section, National Guard.

Requirements:
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education or training which provided extensive knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Experience using computer and automation systems.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-09 - Must have 1-year specialized experience, education or training to at least the next lower grade level (GS-07) or equivalent. Extensive knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, policies and precedents, which affect the use of the Military Family Readiness program and related support resources in the area. Must have experience providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management. Experience developing administrative procedures. Extensive knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, policies and precedents, which affect the use of the Military Family Readiness program and related support resources in the area.
Well Qualified applicant will have an in-depth knowledge of Military & Family Readiness programs and Military structure. Extensive knowledge of the National Guard principles, policies and Military/Family program goals. Ability to apply analytical and evaluative techniques to solve problems effectively, apply the programs needed to address such problems and recommend action to improve the system. Extensive knowledge and experience with development and budget forecasting to support the Soldier and Family Readiness Support Program to higher headquarters. Applicant will also possess strong Case Management, Project Management and Public Speaking abilities.
