Description:
This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, US Coast Guard, DCMS-DMR, Operational Logistics Command. LOG-3, Base Kodiak, Kodiak, AK.
Requirements:
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-4 level in the federal service
OR,
4 years of education above high school
OR,
a combination of experience and education.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Examples of specialized experience include: receiving, screening and referring visitors/phone calls to appropriated personnel; responding to inquiries verbally and in writing; arranging meetings, travel, hotel reservations; reviewing correspondence for grammar, punctuation, and format; establishing files/records; and typing a variety of correspondence using automated equipment.
NOTE: Must be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute to qualify for this position.
