Requirements:

GS-11:
In addition to the above Basic Requirement (See Education Section), your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

*Experience interpreting visible, infrared, synthetic aperture radar, scatterometer, and passive microwave imagery to produce analyses and forecasts using a tailored geographical information system (GIS).
*Experience applying remotely sensed imagery and the principles of geography, oceanography, meteorology and climatology; as well as numerical meteorological and oceanographic model output.
*Experience applying standardized World Meteorological Organization (WMO) codes for sea ice and other environmental data.
*Experience using computer workstations and various software programs for administrative and operational application and planning, developing, and participating in assigned in-house on the job training for technical and professional development.

GS-9:
