Description:

This position is within the Office of the Enterprise Governance and the Ombudsman (EG-OMBD). As a National Bank Examiner (Enterprise Governance/Ombudsman Analyst), you will be responsible for quality assurance/ internal audit reviews and for administering the OCC bank appeals program and related activities conducted by the Office of the Enterprise Governance and the Ombudsman (EG-OMBD).

This is a nontraditional position subject to the Alternative Location Arrangements PPM 3110-53.

Requirements:

You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:

You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-V band level. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:

  • Leading exams or audits of a financial institution's enterprise governance and operational risk management systems used to identify and control risks; OR
  • Leading exams or audits of a financial institution applying laws, regulations, and guidance related all other bank supervision areas .

    AND

    Selective factor: You must also possess a National Bank Examiner (NBE) commission reflecting that you are authorized to sign Reports of Examinations (ROEs) for national banks and federal savings associations.


    The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
