Description:

About the Position: The pay band NH-04 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-14 to 15. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-03). 1) Supervising employees to include evaluating work performance, counseling, and creating Individual Development Plans (IDP). 2) Leading a team that is the main authority for policy. 3) Tracking acquisition certification compliance per the Defense Acquisition University requirements. 4) Creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new security cooperation initiatives.
