This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Post-Secondary Students and Recent Graduates. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector equipping you with knowledge of administrative office practices and procedures related to the following: legal procedures, correspondence, maintaining records, files, mail and/or reports, utilizing databases, and customer service. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Responding to routine and highly technical requests for information; 2) Utilizing various databases to store, maintain, and track case files; 3) Preparing documents, filings, and case correspondence; 4) Researching, evaluating, and coordinating information to identify all relevant facts in a particular file; 5) Managing case filings and status updates for client files.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
