Description:
This position is located with United States Dept. of Agriculture, (USDA), Agriculture Research Services, Exotic & Emerging Avian Viral Diseases Research Unit in Athens, GA.In this position, you will serve as the initial point-of-contact for all questions, information, and problem resolution in the areas of budget and accounting, agreements, travel, human resources, files management, time and attendance, office automation systems, and purchasing/procurement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
GS-06: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level or equivalent.
Qualifying experience for the GS-06 grade level includes experience applying guidelines involving program and administrative processes; assisting in developing and executing the annual budget (e.g. developing financial plans, monitoring spending, preparing financial reports, tracking); providing customer service to visitors and staff; and operating a personal computer, printers, scanners, word processing, spreadsheets or presentation software.
GS-07: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level or equivalent.
Qualifying experience for the GS-07 grade level includes experience applying guidelines involving program and administrative processes; assisting in developing and executing the annual budget(e.g. developing financial plans, monitoring spending, preparing financial reports, tracking); providing customer service to visitors and staff; operating a personal computer, printers, scanners, word processing, spreadsheets or presentation software; and coordinating all aspects of travel for staff or supervisors.
