Description:
Incumbent serves as a management or program analyst for an organizational entity of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). He/she provides analysis of assigned programs and management functions and identifies actual or potential problem areas, trends, accomplishments, issues and practices.
Requirements:
Specialized Experience
To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level FV-F (FG/GS-9). Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
Specialized experience includes: Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, analyzing programs and/or activities to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, recognize solutions, plan and organize work and
convey information.
Education Substitution:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
or,
Combination of education and experience may be qualifying for this position.
