The FBI's Office of the General Counsel (OGC) is seeking a highly qualified attorney with forensic science experience to join its exciting and challenging legal practice. The Forensic Science Law Unit (FSLU) provides legal advice and guidance to the FBI's Laboratory Division (LD) on a diverse range of issues.Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience as a criminal prosecutor, defense attorney, or civil litigator
- Ability to perform superior legal and factual analyses
- Excellent legal research, legal writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Experience developing and implementing legal policies and proposals
- Demonstrated experience in teaching or training others This experience, if applicable, should be highlighted in the application materials.
The Department of Justice will approve candidates that are selected for this position.
