The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Colorado is looking for an experienced criminal supervisor to serve as Chief of its Violent Crime and Immigration Enforcement Section. The section includes approximately 10 AUSAs and several term SAUSAs.. The position is located in Denver, Colorado, home to over 300 days of sunshine every year, world-class outdoor recreation, a vibrant arts and restaurant scene, and great schools.Requirements:
Required Qualifications:Applicants must possess a J.D. Degree, be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction), have at least 6 years post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience, and have experience supervising other attorneys.
United States citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal qualifications also include 8 or more years overall litigation experience as well as experience as both a federal prosecutor and supervisor of federal prosecutors. Ideal applicants will be available to start work in the District of Colorado by the end of June, 2024.
