You will serve as the Applied Biology Branch Head (Entomologist/Natural Resource Specialist) in the Environmental Conservation Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING SYSTEMS COMMAND ATLANTIC.Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Manages/Leads teams/personnel by determining priorities, providing guidance and assistance on complex problems, and ensuring all products and services are technically sufficient and adhere to policy and milestones; 2) Applies knowledge of the principles of entomology; a deep knowledge of the current state-of-the-art as it relates to biology, ecology, environmental science, behavior and control of the particular problems encountered; and thorough understanding of the principles of associated fields; 3) Possesses knowledge of resource allocation and execution and acquisition plan development to meet complex program requirements; and 4) Provides expert advice to senior leadership and collaborate with pest management stakeholders of widely varying backgrounds and positions to recommend policy and guidance.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
