Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies and the screen out listed below as described in your resume. This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: You must possess and maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a P(Passenger) endorsement at time of appointment. X-Hazardous and T-Tankers endorsements must be obtained within 180 days of appointment.

( NOTE: You must provide a copy of your current, valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with your application to be considered for the this position.)

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is; Ability to do the work of Motor Vehicle Operator without more than normal supervision performing the following; 1) Driving vehicles such as, semi-tractor-trailers, heavy duty flatbed trucks, heavy fuel tank trucks, heavy straight in-line trucks, heavy duty tow trucks, heavy vacuum trucks, crane trucks, heavy duty waste disposal/trash collection trucks and vehicles weighing more that 32,000 pounds; 2) Loading, unloading and arranging of cargo; 3) Using a two-way radio to remain in contact with supervisor or dispatcher.
