Description:

This position is located in the Farm Service Agency, Deputy Administrator for Farm Loan Programs, location to be determined upon selection.

The selectee will serve as the Assistant to the Deputy Administrator for Farm Loan Programs.

Requirements:

Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement 04/25/2024 including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education, as defined below.

Time in grade: Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.

For the GS-15 level:

One full-time year of specialized experience at the GS-14 level which demonstrates experience in 1) leading project teams through complex technical issues, utilizing standard project management methodology; 2) monitoring and managing project budgets; 3) experience in developing creative and innovative solutions to complex management issues which increase effectiveness and enhance customer service, involving others in the decision making process in order to lead cross functional teams; and 4) experience planning and directing the development and delivery of Federal Loan programs, including the development of functional requirements for a wide variety of automated systems.
