The Electrical Engineering Division (EED) is seeking a highly qualified and motivated applicant to serve as the Branch Head for the Power Systems Branch (Code 563). This specialty is distinguished by its concern with developing an end-to-end electrical power system including the interfaces from source, all required system components, other related systems, and the user. Knowledge of and interface with other subsystems and components of the power system is a requirement.Requirements:

To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level: Managing team progress and evaluating its compliance against technical requirements; Developing, evaluating and monitoring contractor task plans including cost estimates and task descriptions; Providing expertise in power systems engineering and high voltage design.
