Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify at the GS-7 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level, which must include the following experience participating in planning and carrying out administrative services to support the accomplishment of the organization's objectives and providing administrative guidance to management in carrying out responsibilities.
Or
have one full year of graduate level education.
Or
have completed (or expect to complete within 9 months) all requirements for a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and meet one or more of the following Superior Academic Achievement (SAA) criteria: (1) Rank in the upper one-third of your class in the college, university, or major subdivision; (2) cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0 based on 4 years of education, or courses completed in the last 2 years of the curriculum; (3) GPA 3.5 or higher out of a possible 4.0 for all courses in your major field of study, or required courses in your major completed in the last two years of the curriculum; OR (4) Membership in a national honor society (other than freshman honor societies).

have a combination of education and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
