THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITIONThis National Guard position is for a FLIGHT SERVICES MANAGER (Title 5), Position Description Number T5912200 and is part of the 188WG, Air National Guard.
Requirements:
GENERAL EXPERIENCE:Work in this series is to administer, supervise, or perform duties involving the planning, directing, or operating of rails, motor, air, or water transportation systems and service, including positions involving responsibility for operation of both transportation service and terminal facilities.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
In addition to the OPM IORs, apply the Functional Manager Specialized Experience Requirements below. Specialized experience time requirements of 1-year equivalent to at least next lower grade level apply for two-grade interval work. 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Experience, education, or training performing, administering, or supervising technical and analytical work concerned with planning, development and execution of traffic policies and programs. Experience interpreting applicable Federal, State, and local laws, and regulations concerning transportation and traffic procedures. Knowledge of transportation requirements and systems for specific geographic areas (International and Continental United States).
